A Solar Powered Purse! How Cool!

solarjo.gif

Genius Joe Hyneck, a 29 year old fashion and technology student at Iowa University, created the Power Purse, a solar power charging purse. He states that he wanted to make solar charging available, mobile, and most of all...stylish. He managed to achieve that feat and this beauty will soon be available from Solarjo.com. If you want to get on the list email him at Joe@solarjo.com. It will retail for around $300, which isn't cheap, but the price of high-tech never is. It can charge electronic devices with a built-in USB connection inside the purse. You can just rest this solar panel covered baby on the window sill while you work and your cell, camera, e-reader, ipad, even mini laptop could be charged in as little as two hours. Why is a guy holding it in the picture you say? Well I can only guess since a man invented it, he intends to market it to men as well as women. I say this high-tech useful gadget is both fashionable AND unisex in the hands of all women and secure-in-themselves men! Either way, I am on the list, and I bet we see this bag on the arms of celebs-a-plenty soon too. Salons are a breeding ground for cutting edge news-so impress all that will listen and chat away ladies (and gentlemen)!

  1. Thankfully his price point will leave lots of room for competition. That tech is transitional and has some niche appeal.
