I am going to show you a simple and quick style that you can twist your hair into that looks really neat. My pictures show a side braid version but it also looks amazing done in a few tiny braids on either side of the head and pinned back. 

1. First take your hair and make two even pieces. 

2. Then twist BOTH pieces the same direction...I twisted mine to my left. 

3. Now you intertwine these pieces by twisting them the OPPOSITE direction, I did my right. The hair will naturally want to unwind but since they are going opposite directions (the actual pieces one way, and then both of them together another way) it will create a resistance and hold it in place. 

4. It might take a few times to get the hang of twisting the pieces without letting them unravel, I like to cross over and then pull the pieces out wide each time tightening the coil...and voila! You have yourself one really cool looking braid!
