Asian cuisine is distinct for its heavy use of herbs, spices, coconut milk, soy sauce, and fish and shrimp paste. In addition, Asian cuisine rarely uses oil to deep fry food. So you get soups, grilled or smoked meat, or stew. What's more, Asian cuisine is big on flavors: Sweet, sour, and salty on the far east and earthy spices on the west. Chinese food is mostly sweet, steamed, and very rarely fried. We're not talking about Chinese takeouts and fast food joints, though. We're talking about real sit-down dinners where you take orders from a menu. That kind. It's where you're offered an unlimited amount of hot tea simply because it's a tradition and a custom. Green tea, however, isn't sweetened nor served like chai. It's given to you in its purest form. Just freshly brewed leaves and water.
Korean barbecue, bibimbap, and kimchi are marinated for hours- even days- before they are cooked. This gives you the assurance that there is absolutely no artificial flavor included in the process. As an added bonus, some restaurants provide you with your own grill in your table or your own cook so that your food is served fresh.

Thai food is mostly spicy and aromatic. Meats, poultry and fishes are either wrapped or stuffed in pandan leaves, lemongrass, or lime leaves to seal in flavor. In addition, it takes influences from Chinese and Russian food, making it a healthy alternative to takeouts, hamburgers, and deep fried guilty pleasures.
Indian food is a mixture of Thai and Middle-Eastern cuisine. Curries, vegetables, and meat are cooked in a similar manner to its neighbors as well. And since Hindu philosophy entails the wellbeing of the mind, body and soul, food in this region strives to address those concerns. Indian food uses plenty of spices, coconut milk, and vegetables. In addition, you'll be sticking with healthy food instead of the usual pork and beef.
Lamb may be expensive in Western cuisines, but in the Middle East, lamb is a staple as it goes along the lines of chicken and beef. There is a variety to choose from- kebabs, cous cous, pilaf, and hummus, which all have a very earthy taste and texture.
