Customers

The Sassable Booking System provides a customer database which keeps a record of appointment and sales history for each customer.  You can add notes about the customer's service history and preferences.

The search box at the top is an auto-complete lookup box.  Type the customer name, or part of the name to locate the customer record.  A list of matching customers will be shown.  Select the customer from the drop-down list to view their customer record.

You can click the cross button to close the customer record, or just type a new name in the lookup box to access a different customer.

Appointments

The Appointments tab on the customer record lists past and upcoming appointments for this customer.  Actions which are applicable to each appointment are shown as buttons.

Completed

The completed button is shown for all past appointments which have not yet been marked as completed.  When you click the Completed button, you will be prompted to record a sale for that appointment.  You can make any changes to the sale description and amount, select the payment type, and click Save.  The appointment will be marked as completed and a new sale will be recorded for the customer.

Reschedule

All appointments which are still in the future have a reschedule button.  If the customer contacts you to change their appointment, you can use the reschedule button to select a new date and time for the appointment from the available time slots.

Cancel

All appointments which are still in the future will also have a cancel button, for if the appointment needs to be cancelled.

Re-book

A rebook button is shown on completed appointments.  This enables you to create a new appointment for the same service or list of services as the previous appointment.

Sales

The Sales tab lists the sales history for this customer.

Notes

The Notes tab can be used to record information about the customer for later reference.  Notes will be recorded with the date they were created and listed chronologically.  A delete button is shown below each note so that notes which are no longer needed can be deleted.

Other

The Other tab lists some additional details about the customer which are recorded in the database.

Additional Features

According to the setup of your booking system service, you may also see a Rewards tab which tracks loyalty program reward points.
