Managing User Accounts

User account Levels

The Sassable booking calendar supports three account types :

  1. Manager
  2. Front-desk
  3. User
All businesses should have a Manager account to manage setup of the system.  If you are a solo operator a single account would be sufficient.  If you operate a larger business with one or more premises and multiple operators, you may require a range of different accounts and account types.  These are all managed under Administration > Setup > Users or Administration > Database > Users.

The Manager Account

A 'Manager' level account has access to all administrative features of your account, such as configuring locations, services and accessing reports.  This is the highest level of access and includes everything a Front-desk or User account can access.

The Front-desk Account

A 'Front-desk' level account is designed to be used by a receptionist or shared by all staff on the front-of-house computer.  It has access to all diaries and customer records, but can only access a limited number of the administrative or reporting functions.  When configuration changes need to be made like changing wording of the SMS reminder message or adding a new column to the diary, it is necessary to login with a Manager level account.

The User Account

A 'User' level account has access to the same features as the Front-desk account, however only one column of the diary is visible.  'User' level accounts can be set up to enable each practitioner to login and view their appointment schedule.  They can also check and/or update customer information and change availability settings.
