I'm Obsessed! Updos Made Easy

Lots of people cringe at even the idea of an updo. Oh, it takes forever...I can never do it on myself...they are such a pain in the you-know-what...

Well now two major brands have made amazing tools for creating super easy updos in a snap.

1) The Taylor Swift Updo

-curl all your hair using this nifty Conair curler $30. Or you can use a curler you might already have but just wrap the hair around it instead of using the clamp. This technique will help to achieve those "Swift" curls.

-then take these magic springs from Goody called Spin Pins $5 and loosely twist your hair into a low back or side bun and secure into place by "screwing" the pins in, one on the top and one on the bottom. Pull out a few curl strands and either have them stay out or pin them with a bobby pin loosely.

2) The Wedding or Prom Updo

-You can do this either half up or all the way up. If you go half up, you might want to curl the half of your hair that is staying down.

-take the hair you want up, twist it and pull up, then fold in half and tuck the ends under. Hold it with your hand.

-take the Scunci Upzing $5 (two hair combs connected with decorated elastic) and put a comb in either side of your twist and voila, you have a fancy updo that is secure. You can also watch the video here
